CNBC Interview: Burundi Revenue Authority set on increasing government revenue

Over the last five years the Burundi Revenue Authority has increased government revenue from 300 to 560 billion Burundian francs. According to Kieran Holmes, the Commissioner General of the Burundi Revenue Authority they should be able to double this again in the next five years. He is also of the opinion that increased tax revenues allow governments to deliver fundamental services to citizens while also reducing their dependence on foreign aid.
